Old is new

So there is a big trend to return to old values; organic food, textured background on websites, 70s fashion, vintage cameras, fixie bikes etc… Less is more, old is new.
I wonder when car manufacturers will start to (fully) embrace this trend. They’ve already started with the Fiat 500, Mercedes SLR and “new” mini / beetle but I can’t wait for a true vintage car with a kick ass modern engine / security.
Imagine grand’pa old Ford with a modern TDI engine and airbags and the lot… Yum!
