1. 2001: A Space Odyssey
Master piece. Music is just one of the multiple element of this beautiful visual symphony.

Another use of classical music with modern cinematography.
3. Beethoven: Immortal Beloved
Easy to do good use of music when you make a movie about Beethoven

Final scene of the final episode of the classic Godfather trilogy.
5. Apocalypse Now
A classic, great cinematography too.
6. Le Grand Bleu
Huge french classic. A whole generation of french people adore this movie.
7. Chariots of Fire
…And yes this movie is more than a bunch of guys running with white pyjamas.
8. Requiem for a dream
Depressing movie with a depressing soundtrack, but the two are going well together
9. Donnie Darko
Another not so funny movie, but again music as its best
10. Kill Bill (V1 or V2…)
Tarantino always takes good care of his movies’ soundtrack. Kill Bill is a good example.
