I always loved music video clips. Obviously they mixed two things I like; music and video and they are often an interesting source of inspiration for visual work.
So here I put a list of 10+1 music video clips that particularly stand out in my opinion. They are often the work of great directors such as French director Michel Gondry (N°2,6…).

Saw a link to this blog on Smashing Magazine, and found it interesting.
I once saw the Pearl Jam video, but I could not remember it. I just watched it again and you’re right, it’s really great.
I see you have mentioned 2 Michel Gondry videos. The guy is a genius! I once had a top 10 videos list myself, and later, I found out that 8 out of 10 were made by Gondry.
It’s so creative and orginal, and it’s sometimes also very technical. He hasn’t made 2 videos the same.
I would recommend the following video, cause it’s not a famous artist, but it’s my favorite Gondry video. You should watch the making of, it’s incredible. I still haven’t figured it out.

Je viens de me rendre compte que je suis tombé sur le blog d’un français qui habite en Australie…
Ca aurait été encore plus simple de poster en français parce que je suis moi-même français, et j’habite Paris.
Je vois qu’on a quelques points communs: WordPress, Smashing Magazine, le web design et la musique.
